Update 5/15/23: This is National Police Week in the US. There have been 556 police officers that have been killed in the line of duty including Town of Perinton resident Officer Tony Mazurkiewicz. Please take time this week to reflect on the police officers who keep us safe. Thank you to the Village Of Fairport Police, Monroe County Sheriff and New York State Troopers. Happy New Year! Hi all, I hope you had a great holiday season and a happy New Year! Here is my yearly update: 2023 edition. Yard care: I will begin taking customers and doing estimates starting March 19. I provide many services such as mulching, hedge trimming, weekly mowing, weekly property maintenance and many other services! Bottle and Can collection: I will still be doing bi-monthly bottle and can collection. I am offering a unlimited amount of 18 gallon recycling bins for bottles and cans. If you find that you need something bigger, you can use your own or contact me directly for a larger container. New Logo: I am pleased to announce that Christian’s Recycling and Lawn has a new logo coming soon! I hope to have stickers and possibly t-shirts coming soon as well! Schedule your fall clean up today! The spots are filling up fast! Casella is behind with all trash and recycling services for Perinton, Webster, Penfield and Brighton. Please keep out your bins until it has been collected. The Town of Perinton's leaf collection is in full force! Information about this is on the towns website www.perinton.org. Make sure to reserve your spot now before there all gone! It is getting darker faster now so we have shifted our operating hours on the weekdays - Mon-Fri 4pm-5:30pm. As Halloween fast approaches please remember some simple safetyguidelines to help keep trick or treaters safe along with traffic. Trick or treaters- remeber to look both ways and if a houses lights are not on don't go to that house. Traffic- watch out for parents and kids, don't go super fast though neighborhoods. We will not be doing any yard work 10/24-10/30. But we will be answering phone calls and emails doing that time. We will try to get most of the yard done before that. WM will be delivering brand new 96 gallon recycling carts to the towns of Pittsford, Penfield and Webster, then WM will transitioning to every-other week recycling, all customers will be getting information in the mail soon. Week of October 10: Hey all! Just a quick reminder that it is a A week for B&N recycling, a Odd week for WM recycling and a non-recycling week for Casella. Suburban and Dependable have there recycling collected every week. Old Lilac customers- Casella has began delivering brand new 96 gallon recycling toters if you do not already have a Lilac recycling toter. Our fall services are in full swing! If you refer a neighbor and they sign up for a fall service, you can get 10% off your total cost! We are offering toters for bottles and cans! Please contact me if you would like one! The town of Perinton will begin collecting leaves in the next week or so. Please do not bag them, you can put them in a bin or in a area on the side of the road. It takes about 6 weeks for the cycle to repeat its self so keep that in mind. Please be aware we are not offering any winter services this year. Week of September 26: Hey all! Just a quick reminder that it is a "A" week for B&N recycling, a "Odd" week for Wm recycling and a non recycle week for Casalla customers. Suburban and Dependable have there recycling collected every week. WM will not take any recycling outside your bin with the yellow lid, if you have more please call WM and let them know. B&N has recycling toters for sale and they will take all recycling regardless if it is in the toter or not. Weekly mowing will stop when we get our first frost or first snow storm with more than 2 inches. We do fall clean ups! Please email or call to reserve your spot! A resent poll conducted shows that many customers would like toters to hold their bottles and cans, we will be ordering some soon and will let everyone know when we will be delivering them. Beginning October 1st I will be giving out shout outs to companies and to people who have helped me grow my business (it will NOT be in my weekly update it will be on a seperate page, keep a look out for the name, coming soon). Week Of September 12: Hey Everyone! Quick reminder that it is a "A" week for B&N recycling, a Odd week for WM recycling and a non recycle week for Casella customers. Suburban and Dependable customers have there recycling collected weekly. Leaves are falling, which means you need to schedule your fall clean up! We got you covered, we have 2 different fall clean up services, go check them out on the yard service page! I am excited to share that I am offering three different sizes bins for bottles and cans, 18 gallon, 32 gallon and 64 gallon. Please contact me to get one! I just wanted to take a few moments to remember everyone who lost there lives in the 9/11 attacks and say thank you to all the heroes who helped save lots of people.🇺🇸 I also wanted to say a few thank yous to B&N Disposal especially to John, Diana, Toad, Randy, Ethan and Rich they have given me so much information about the waste and recycling business and helped me so much in growing my business I would definitely not be here if it was not for them. Week Of September 5: Hey All! Quick reminder this week all garbage days will be delayed one day because of labor day. This is a "B" week for B&N recycling, a "Even" week for WM recycling and a recycling week for Casella customers. Dependable and Suburban customers have recycling collected every week. Fall clean ups are in full swing! Please give me a call for yard work! Check out all the services we offer on the yard care page! Summer is ending😭 which means school is starting soon (this week!!!) so my yard care hours are changing. I would begin work in summer around 8:30am and end around 4:30pm and I could work almost every day during a week. But because of school starting our hours are now going to be 4:00pm to 6:00pm (ONLY ON WEEKDAYS) and may only be able to work 3-4 days a week, this change will be effective on September 7th 2022. Week of August 29: Fall Clean Ups and Refuse collection Information Hey Everyone! Thanks for a great bottle and can pick up on Saturday! I have noticed some leafs starting to turn colors and that means that they are going to drop soon! Don't worry we got you covered with our fall services! Suburban and Dependable customers have recycling collected every week. A lot of people have been asking me why WM is not picking up all of there recycling. WM will not take anything that is not inside the bin with the yellow lid, to ensure that recycling is collected you have to buy another toter from them for $80. B&N will collect all recycling and most garbage, you can also purchase a recycling toter from them in all different sizes. B&N is also offering different size garbage cans, 96 gallon, 64 gallon and 32 gallon service will be starting soon. Please feel free to contact me with any questions! There will be a bottle and can collection on Saturday (8/27) collection will begin at 10 am so make sure your stuff is out by then. Everything must be bagged!! WE WILL NOT COLLECT UN BAGGED THINGS! Some new things are coming to make collections faster and easier will be coming soon! The yard service page has been updated, it is now saying what services are being offered right now and will change as more services become available! Week of August 8: Did somebody say fall clean ups?! Yes, we did do one fall clean up already. But we are waiting on some more equipment before we will begin fully. Please let me know if you need a work done, mulch jobs are ending but I can fit you in before school starts! Keep an eye out for information about leaf clean ups! Week 8/1-8/7/2022: I have many openings this week for yard work this week! Also, if you would like weekly property maintenance such as pulling weeks, trimming bushes, watering plants and edging please let me know!
